This Hatco SAL-1 Electric 4500 Watt Countertop Salamander Broiler's unique and flexible design allows it to cook, hold, grill, or preheat according to your specific cooking needs. The hold function has eight different programmable heat levels and all three of its heating elements are controlled separately. Plate detection activates the Instant-On heating elements when a food plate touches the bar and deactivates itself once the plate is removed. This allows the Sal-1 to be energy efficient and highly functional in any kitchen. Adjustable black plastic legs hold the stainless steel Salamander Broiler above the countertop and it comes with wall mounting hardware, removable cooking grate, drip tray, and adjustable hood.
