Crucial to the success of our bid department, Luke is dedicated and responsive when customers or the company needs extra help.

I had the privilege of working on inventory with him a few of years ago and he added efficiency to the process. It was exciting to connect with him again for this interview.

How did you hear about us and come to be hired?

Adam Powers Recruited me. Decided it was time for a change so I done a couple interviews and got hired!

How would you describe your department and work responsibilities?

Bid department is very fast paced. I manage around 10 project managers to ensure that deadlines are met daily.

What is your dream job? If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?

I always wanted to be a sports star whether that be basketball, baseball, or football. Of Course, this never came true. =-)

With the holidays coming up, which would you say is your favorite? And do you have any special food traditions?

Thanksgiving would be my favorite holiday. Family tradition to always have White Castle dressing actually stuffed inside the turkey and grilled.

While working here, have you learned anything about the foodservice industry that surprised you? If so, what?

I have learned that the equipment is very expensive and continues to get more expensive due to inflation.

We are headquartered in West Virginia. Have you lived in this area your whole life? If so what would you recommend about the area (activities, restaurants, scenery, etc.)?

Yes. I would recommend Pipestem State Park. In regards to dining, I would prefer to stay in and cook myself.

We’re thankful to Luke for all the hard work he does as well as taking the time to answer our questions. If you would like to learn more about him, give our bid department a call. I’m sure he and his team would be happy to provide a quote.
